Last night it was 11pm and I was finally heading home from work. I really, really wanted pizza and in LA there are no late night pizza places. So I decided to stop at one of those Taco Bell/ Pizza Hut combo restaurants. First I get in line, in the drive thru, and I sit and sit and sit. REally I mean how long does it really take to make a taco? After sitting for almost 20min I make my order only to get to the window and for them to say, “sorry. You’re breadsticks aren’t ready yet. We’ll give you some free nachos if you don’t mind pulling around and wating a few minutes.” Fine. I really wanted my damn pizza.

I pull over and start reading a magazine, not really paying attention to the time. After awhile I realize it’s been almost 20 freakin’ minutes. I look back and the restarurant doors are now locked. WTF?! So I go through the horrendously slow drive thru yet again. After another 10 minutes I get to the window….first the damn breadsticks are still not ready. The very embarassed guy at the window gives me a refund and just my pizza. Um yeah free nachos? Anyone?

After almost an hour at this fun adventure I get home. I finally get to sit down and eat my highly anticipated, sought after pepperoni pizza. Um it was basically cheeseless, burnt, and horrible. Needless to say I was extremely happy I got my money back. Worst pizza I’ve ever had and this includes when I’ve had to mop grease up off the pizza. Moral of the story: F’ drive thrus, especially at 11pm.
